The chloroplast is only found in the cytoplasm in plant cells. Inside the chloroplast is chlorophyll thylaloid disks which gives the cell its green color.
Its function is to produce glucose which it creates by converting sunlight into energy through a process called photosynthesis.
Mitochondria
The mitochondria, located in both plant and animal cells, is located in the cytoplams of the cell and there is 300- 800 mitochondria per cell. It has and oval chape with a double membrane system and within the double membrane is the cristae. It provides energy for the cell in the form of ATP.
